Liquid Laminates for the Digital Age
The use of superior quality base components, combined with leading
edge manufacturing techniques, result in LUMINA COATINGS
archival quality liquid laminate coatings for the inkjet printing industry.
Aqua jetcoat II
Using breakthrough technology in waterborne synthetic liquid laminate
manufacturing, Lumina Coatings Canada has produced
AQUA Jetcoat II that is used on most all types of media
and inks to provide the ultimate protection for all indoor/outdoor,
water resistant, inkjet print media using solvent and pigmented inks.
Soap and water clean up - no messy and smelly solvents!
Lumina Coatings Canada is pleased to announce that
our popular liquid laminate, Aqua
Jetcoat II has been upgraded to be totally compatible with
the new "micro-porous" inkjet receptor coatings that are now
being used on the new high-end giclee media. Aqua Jetcoat II laminates
these media and prevents IRC (inkjet receptor coating) cracking and
edge curl. We have accomplished this while retaining the superior UV
fade resistance and optical clarity that our products are known for.
LUMINA Coatings Aqua Jetcoat II is a water-based,
non-bubbling, colorless, highly flexible, scratch resistant, UV fade
resistant and water resistant liquid laminate developed for:
- Giclée fine art prints on canvas and other water resistant
media.
- Liquid laminate topcoat for artist "print embellishment"
- Outdoor/indoor signs, posters and billboards
- Piezo Prints
- Electrostatic Prints
- Dye Sublimation Printed materials
- Digital Press Prints
- Solvent Inkjet Prints
- Plastic, wood, metal and all printable substrates including
vinyl, canvas and inks that are directly printed to wood, Gator board,
backlit acrylic
displays, airport sign age, quality Point-of-Sale, large PVC banners
and much more.
- Meets Fire Code 701
LUMINA Coatings designed aqua jetcoat II,
as another product which combines non-destructive UV inhibitors with
a very robust and long lasting liquid laminate. aqua jetcoat
II is a liquid laminate that can be used for any solvent
ink application and for laminating all water based pigmented inks
requiring protection from UV fade, water, solvent, gasoline, chemical
and acid contamination and long term conservation.

for use with all LaMmax Rollercoat machines.
